I believe this…I agree to that…I cosign too…don’t start beefs between…and the list goes on. These are the beginnings to comments that I’ve seen.
While doing my usual perusal of several sites today, I noticed that the majority of readers of blogs are so willing to agree with the author.
At one site, there was an article about a pastor and the author of the site stated their personal opinion about that topic and all of the comments that followed agreed. I was in awe, because I was thinking, do they really feel this way or were they influenced by the blogger’s opinion?
At my next stop, I read an article, where the blogger was merely reporting facts and insisting that the readers listen to the interview for themselves and draw their own conclusion, but all of the comments that followed were negative. The readers obviously did not like what they heard/read and were livid. They were complaining in the comment section that the blogger was trying to beef up a situation and get the readers to believe what was written.
After my trip around blogosphere, I began thinking…are readers of blogs that gullible, do they really believe half the stuff that bloggers write. Then, I thought…do we as bloggers intentionally write certain things to persuade our readers like an advertisement…certainly not, right?
So, here are the questions that I pose…Are you influenced by bloggers? Do you think bloggers write certain post to get a response from readers?
